Abstract:Generating visually consistent multi-shot videos remains an open challenge. As videos span more shots, inconsistencies can accumulate across shots, causing entities that reappear across shots -- characters, objects, and locations -- to drift away from how they first appear. We observe that viewers judge consistency by comparing each later appearance of an entity with its first clear appearance; the visual quality of this initial appearance sets the consistency ceiling for all that follows. Motivated by this, we present \textbf{GroundShot}, a training-free, model-agnostic agentic framework for entity-grounded multi-shot generation. GroundShot builds an entity-level visual memory online from accepted generated shots: it schedules shots' generation order by their expected usefulness as entity references, grounds entities from generated videos, verifies their reliability before adding them to memory, and retrieves suitable entity references from memory before each shot is generated. To evaluate this entity-centered view of consistency, we further introduce \textbf{GroundBench}, a diagnostic benchmark that measures consistency at the entity level while isolating controlled challenge dimensions. Experiments show that GroundShot improves multi-shot consistency over existing methods while requiring no additional training or model modification.
Abstract:Streaming video generation models typically rely on temporal-centric memory, which organizes historical context as raw frames, chunk segments, or unclustered tokens. This organization frequently leads to identity drift and semantic inconsistency when entities exit the frame or during interactive prompt transitions. To address these limitations, we propose SlotMemory, an object-centric Key-Value memory mechanism for streaming video diffusion. Our approach shifts the memory abstraction from "when" an event occurred to "what" is being represented by decomposing the transformer's key-value manifold into discrete, reusable semantic slots. By utilizing these slots as routing addresses to index and store high-fidelity key-value tokens, we enable entity-level persistence and prompt-aware retrieval across long horizons. Evaluated on 60-second interactive narratives using the Wan2.1-T2V-1.3B backbone, SlotMemory achieves a state-of-the-art quality score of 81.61 and a 22.8 percent relative improvement in dynamic consistency over the strongest existing streaming baseline. Our results demonstrate that structured semantic representation, rather than raw temporal capacity, is the essential primitive for persistent long-form video synthesis. Abstract:Recent generative models can produce high-fidelity videos, yet they often exhibit 3D spatial geometric inconsistencies. Existing evaluation methods fail to accurately characterize these inconsistencies: fidelity-centric metrics like FVD are insensitive to geometric distortions, while consistency-focused benchmarks often penalize valid foreground dynamics. To address this gap, we introduce SGC, a metric for evaluating 3D \textbf{S}patial \textbf{G}eometric \textbf{C}onsistency in dynamically generated videos. We quantify geometric consistency by measuring the divergence among multiple camera poses estimated from distinct local regions. Our approach first separates static from dynamic regions, then partitions the static background into spatially coherent sub-regions. We predict depth for each pixel, estimate a local camera pose for each subregion, and compute the divergence among these poses to quantify geometric consistency. Experiments on real and generative videos demonstrate that SGC robustly quantifies geometric inconsistencies, effectively identifying critical failures missed by existing metrics.




Abstract:Recent attempts to transfer features from 2D Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to 3D semantic segmentation expose a persistent trade-off. Directly projecting 2D features into 3D yields noisy and fragmented predictions, whereas enforcing geometric coherence necessitates costly training pipelines and large-scale annotated 3D data. We argue that this limitation stems from the dominant segmentation-and-matching paradigm, which fails to reconcile 2D semantics with 3D geometric structure. The geometric cues are not eliminated during the 2D-to-3D transfer but remain latent within the noisy and view-aggregated features. To exploit this property, we propose GeoPurify that applies a small Student Affinity Network to purify 2D VLM-generated 3D point features using geometric priors distilled from a 3D self-supervised teacher model. During inference, we devise a Geometry-Guided Pooling module to further denoise the point cloud and ensure the semantic and structural consistency. Benefiting from latent geometric information and the learned affinity network, GeoPurify effectively mitigates the trade-off and achieves superior data efficiency. Extensive experiments on major 3D benchmarks demonstrate that GeoPurify achieves or surpasses state-of-the-art performance while utilizing only about 1.5% of the training data. Abstract:This paper reviews the NTIRE 2025 Challenge on Day and Night Raindrop Removal for Dual-Focused Images. This challenge received a wide range of impressive solutions, which are developed and evaluated using our collected real-world Raindrop Clarity dataset. Unlike existing deraining datasets, our Raindrop Clarity dataset is more diverse and challenging in degradation types and contents, which includes day raindrop-focused, day background-focused, night raindrop-focused, and night background-focused degradations. This dataset is divided into three subsets for competition: 14,139 images for training, 240 images for validation, and 731 images for testing. The primary objective of this challenge is to establish a new and powerful benchmark for the task of removing raindrops under varying lighting and focus conditions. There are a total of 361 participants in the competition, and 32 teams submitting valid solutions and fact sheets for the final testing phase.
